| I believe that the single cup makers definitely make a far better cup of coffee, and this one is, by far, the best. Not only is it attractive, but it is efficient and serves up a rich, crisp cup of coffee every time. I am replacing a Tassimo that leaks and is very noisy. This Breville also makes noise, but trust me, it's not any noisier than other makers of this caliber. | I bought my beloved Sunbeam at an auction for 25 cents about 8 years ago. It has led a happy life, spoiling me and - no doubt - its previous owner(s) with perfect toast, slice after golden slice. | I had never used an immersion blender before purchasing this one. I'm very happy with it even though I have only used it a few times (I've had it a few weeks), so I cannot attest to its longevity. It worked superbly for making creamed soups and mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving. It is a very handy tool and I plan to use it a lot in the future. |

| Had this for years. Filters impossible to find (#3). Makes very good coffee, but where it drips through gets easily clogged (although washed after each use) and then the coffee overflows from the filter as it's being made. We got sick of cleaning coffee and grounds off the counter and floor and bought a Cuisinart. Too bad - really liked the coffee. |

| I bought this mixer as a replacement for one my daughter melted and tried it out for the first time tonight.
Initially things went well, and I liked the power that it offered, though the low speed is a little faster than I usually prefer. But towards the end of the recipe, the mixer began emitting a burning smell and then a bit of smoke. | I have used the Braun food processor for years but could no longer replace the disc carrier, which breaks often. So I went searching and this seemed a reasonable next generation/price. So far I like it ok. One of my favorite uses is to grate fresh parmesan; this process leaves something to be desired--more small chunks than good grating of hard cheese. Will keep working on it. Good pulse performance; good pesto results; good pastry mixing. |

| In February 2008 I purchased a George Foreman GRP4 Series grill from Amazon.com. I have been absolutely thrilled with it. I've been using it almost daily, and sometimes more than once in a day.
In September, however, the non-stick surface started to deteriorate...quickly. I have never used anything other than the included spatula/cleaning tool and a soft sponge to clean the grill surfaces.
