| This product worked better than I thought it would. I was staying at a friends house at Lake tahoe for the month of September and while he had good Henckel knives they were all very dull. I went shopping on amazon.com for knive sharpener and ran across this one that was from Henckel and was only $20.00 or so. I ordered it and it came quickly and works very well. One of my better buys on amazon. |

| Very happy with this set. Purchased back in September, and all the edges are still sharp. In fact, be careful when you first use the knives, I cut myself the first time (not used to sharp knives!!) Especially like that the scissors come apart, makes cleaning them so much easier. Highly recommend. I use both knives daily; or at least on the days that I cook! |

| I purchased this set of knives as a Gold Box item not knowing what to expect. I am impressed with the quality and feel of this set. It is very heavy, solid blades right down to the steak knives. With most sets of this price range the smaller knives, and often even the larger ones, are thin and will bend or flex in your hand. This set is solid.
They are worth looking at when the price is right. |

| I bought this knife to replace a much-loved bread knife whose wooden handle had gotten dried and cracked. Wow! I hadn't realized how dull my old knife was until I used this one the first time. The bandaid on my finger attests to the keenness of the edge: on the very first draw through my morning bagel, it sliced as much as my old knife would have done in 3 draws, and reminded me that there is a correct slicing technique.

| I almost didn't buy this set because I figured I'd have no use for a gimmicky curved knife and a serrated blade, I only wanted the normal paring knife, but the set was only a little bit more expensive than an individual paring knife. As it turns out I use the curved knife more than any other knife I own, and the serrated one more than the normal paring knife- I was fully prepared to hide those two knives in the back of my drawer and never look at them again, but they are really great. | My knives were getting so dull they were dangerous, so I knew I needed a sharpener. I wanted something quick and easy, that didn't take any skill, but just sharpened knives.
I know if I took the time to learn how to properly sharpen my knives, I'd get better results than I can with the Diamond Fingers, but not by much. The Diamond Fingers suit my needs perfectly. Plus it folds up and stores in a drawer easily. Good product! |

| Wusthof's Pull Apart Shears would be my one "desert island" necessity: I use them for snipping fresh herbs such as mint, basil and rosemary, snipping macerated fruit into smaller pieces, cutting parchment paper to fit pans, making quick work of coarsely chopping pecans and walnuts, and chopping vegetables such as asparagus into uniform lengths. | Bought these for my parents last Christmas and they love them!! Almost a year later they are still sharp and work great. My mom said the only problem she ran into was when she tried to cut a frozen pizza, a knife broke. Go figure! But OXO was really great and shipped her out a new knife right away!
