| After reading all of these reviews, I expected wonderful things out of this item. I purchased it to slice cured bacon. It does not slice cured bacon at all. So if you want to cut 'tough' food items, find another way. |

| This is overall a nice set of knives, good weight and they don't bend too much. The price is the selling point here, Henckels International means "made in China or Taiwan" not Germany but overall it is a nice set. If you are the person who wants the German name this is not for you but if you want a knife that is sharp and ready to use every day, give them a try. |

I have been putting this off this addition to my cutlery for too long. It does a fabulous job of fine slicing and dicing for smaller needs not requiring heavy prep. work. | I had to replace my original flexible cutting boards, and the 4-for-3 deal and other reviewers' comments convinced me to choose this set.
We are quite happy with these cutting boards. They flex just fine for our cooking needs (and flex just like my old mats). We hand wash & store the mats on their sides with our skillets. They took a little longer to ship from Amazon because they were back-ordered. Priced well, they were worth the wait. |

| I bought these knives about 3+ years ago from a Bed, Bath and Beyond store for $19.99 each. They are well worth it! I appreciate Cutco knives as well, but for the price, these are a supreme value.
They cut really well, and although the description says that they are "stainless steel" they really are "high carbon stainless steel" which is why they hold their sharpness. The high carbon part is harder and holds the sharp edge better than soft stainless steel, which dulls quickly. They are ... Read More: |

| Excellent knives, very sharp. I have had no problem with these and don't believe I will have any. They are well made and do what I need them to. I like them and they will do until I can afford the TWINS. J.A. Henckels has a high-end set of knives that are very pricey but worth it. These will do until then. |
