| I ordered this and 6 other similar knives that have sets under $200 and are well reviewed.
pros: I have to say for the price, after a good sharpening, its an excellent blade, it appears Cast or Forged, though its sold on some sites as Stamped, the shoulder has no joint so it would need to be stamped from 1/2" or bigger stock, so might as well be forged as it is thick and sturdy. its held the edge well, it came fairly sharp, but a little work in a simple sharpener made it almost perfect. ... | Super sharp, comfortable to use, lightweight, great looking, very happy until... used the knife to cut tomatoes which stained the stainless steel blade.
Not sure if this is normal, or if the blade is faulty. The stains look like water marks but conventional cleaning does not remove them. I'm dissapointed because the knife is only a week old and I handwash soon after every use. Suggestions for stain removal are most welcome, as I love the look of this knife. |

| This is a great item and was packed extremely well. However after I had gotten it unpacked and sat it on the table the rubber foot rest came off. I ended up glueing it back on except now the pastry board wobbles some. Still an excellent product for the price and quality. |
