| The scissors I purchases were a hostess gift. I spent a week with my friend and she was using some old, worn-out scissors.
I had received my pair for Christmas last year, and use them daily for all kinds of jobs. I went online and ordered her a pair just like mine. She loves them as much as I do. |

| I rarely eat meat, but am always chopping veggies. These knives have survived the "dish-washing" tests, and slicing tomatoes and onions (always a difficulty for me with their skins, and my arthritic hands) makes life a lot easier in the kitchen. I can get thin perfect slices, and the carnivores in the family find them great for meat. For me this was well worth the price! |

| I bought this knife set mostly because i needed a paring knife. I also wanted the Wusthof brand since all of my other knives are that brand and have proved to be of superb quality.
The price is what attracted me to this set. I figured it would be better to get more knives for this price rather than one paring knife for about the same price. | This is overall a nice set of knives, good weight and they don't bend too much. The price is the selling point here, Henckels International means "made in China or Taiwan" not Germany but overall it is a nice set. If you are the person who wants the German name this is not for you but if you want a knife that is sharp and ready to use every day, give them a try. |

| I really like the way that the edges stay off of the counter top. It's a simple idea, but makes moving the board, or flipping it a piece of cake. It's a good size, and while a heavy blade may leave a small impression,I think that you can expect some degree of that no matter if you are using wood, bamboo, or a synthetic. Overall, I've been very pleased. |

| I bought this set of knifes for my wife 4 months ago. We love using them, the best and worst part about them is they are so sharp. It is very easy to slice through pretty much anything. You just have to be careful, if you barely touch skin you will be putting on a band aid. Other reviews talked about how the steak knifes were junk. | It's been a few years since I had my kitchen knives sharpened and they were very dull. I decided to buy a sharpener and try doing it myself. This seemed like the best choice because I don't have a lot of counter space. I followed the instructions carefully and got very good results on my two main kitchen knives. They are much sharper and cut food well. If you are looking for a basic product that gets the job done this is a very good choice. |
