| I purchased this pan about four years ago, and last week had to send it back (for the second time) to get it replaced due to the teflon non-stick surface degrading and peeling. Customer service is excellent. The first pan was replaced quickly free of charge. I only had to pay for shipping back to them which ended up costing about half the cost of a new pan.
High heat is the cause of the teflon degrading. One must be very careful not to exposing the pan to the highest heat level on electric ... Read More: |

| This is the first cast iron dutch oven I have ever purchased and I am glad I did. The seasoning appears to be perfect, there is no off smell (even after I have used it) and there is no rust or imperfections. I cannot speak about every dutch oven that came off the line, but, I am glad I ignored the negative reviews and purchased this product. |

| Had it for a year and it breaks. The plastic cog that drives the stirring mechanism cracked. Would I buy this again? No. Why would anyone put plastic into a product that is subject to such heat?

| This is a solid set of cookware. Made very well. I like that the sides are brushed and don't show spots, fingerprints, etc. Just wish they would make more pieces to go with this set. |

| I have fond memories of my family members using cast iron pans. Once I grew up I forgot about such things and got caught up in all the other neat pots and pans. Now I am going back to my roots and buying lodge cast iron. I have thrown most of my other pans, especially those with teflon coating. This pan has been used just about every day for two weeks (since I received it) and it is now my favorite. I love it and I love Amazon! |

| I have only used this cake tester once so far, and I overcooked my cake, but it wasn't actually the testers fault because I didn't test it until it was already overcooked. My concern with the product is that the metal tester is very thin, kind of like a thick needle, and I don't know if it's thick enough to grab the cake batter and pull it out to let you know the cake is undercooked...I guess it could be designed so thin for people that don't want a visible hole poked in the top of their cake. | I love this set, truly nothing sticks to it EXCEPT whatever juices burns around the metal surface or bottom of the pan duing a spill over, this is the part that is not "non-stick" leaving my pots looking cheap and really really used! Still don't know how to get it off with out stratching the pots!
