| This purchase was a big mistake. I want good quality cast iron for cooking. However, this black paint looking stuff on modern cast iron that is described as 'pre-seasoned' is nothing but another contaminant for our food. I have already seen too many of these in stores with the 'pre-seasoning' chipping and peeling off. I won't risk cooking in these even once.
Why can we not purchase cast iron that has to be seasoned by the purchaser the old fashioned way? At least then I would know what ... Read More: |

| This is a great pre-seasoned cast iron pan. It is a little larger than I had invisioned and it is super heavy. I have had no problems with cleaning or caring for the pan itself. Amazon by the way had the best price, even better than the lodge website. If you are looking for a larger cast iron pan than this is the one you should get. |

| I have loved popcorn all my life, have used every method including fire place poppers. This is the ultimate popcorn popper! I have gone through countless aluminum ones. This is no more difficult to assemble than they, no more hassle to wash, lid stays in place perfectly and there is never more than a kernel or two left unpopped. It is heavy, won't warp, can be used on ceramic stove top, no aluminum health scares. Simply the best! Price was great especially considering not having to replace it again.

| I bought this two months ago, and after one month I happened to look inside when I filled it and saw that the water was full of flakes; the bottom was falling apart. needless to say i tossed it in the trash, and now i'm even more annoyed to see that though I paid 35 dollars for it is now 14.99.
not worth it either way. |

| Overall the product is good. It takes a little time to get used to the pan, and I was a little disappointed at the diameter of the individual cups. Each cup is ~2inches in diameter. Some similar pans have cups of ~3inches. It still works well, but it was a surprise and it affects cooking. |

(*) The surface is just like any other non-stick surface I used, except for the rivets that are not non-stick. (*) The rubberized handles are nice. (*) The glass lids are great, except that if the lid is hard, and you want to hold it upside-down in one hand while stirring the pans with the other hand so that the steam doesn't drip, the handle makes it hard to hold since they are not wide enough. | I LOVE this pan. You'll never see a burned bottom to anything anymore! The other thing I love about it is that, when you want something browned a little more then usual, you still won't burn the bottom. Totally recommend this for all your baking needs. |

| i got this because it looked so good and convenient from informercial. but instead of buying from the informercial company, i got it from Amazon.com because they are better priced and more reliable company to work with.
as soon as i got it, i tried out with fish, steak and few other vegitables. it worked to perfection. food comes out fast and moist and i have been using it for a month or so and i have no complain at all. it can surely replace my big oven and little toaster. great stuff. |
