| i searched this particular product all over the web, and no price was cheaper than Amazon. Everyone else had this for a min of $99 + around $22 shipping and handling. I got this from Amazon for $69 and free super saver shipping. I've always had a good experience with Presto products and this one is no different. I bought it so my fiance could can deer meat, and this def has alot of room so you aren't waiting around in the kitchen forever to finish a decent sized batch.

| I gave this puppy a test run the firat day i owned it. At 8pm I made a full kettle of hot tea, depositing most of it into the Thermos. I drank it throughout the next day, and at 5pm it was still sufficiently hot I had to sip it. Virtually no loss in heat whasoever. I have yet to try it for cold liquids, but that is not what I bought it for. | I used this for the first time for Thanksgiving 2008 and it worked just great! It squeezes out a little potato around the top when you squeeze, but that doesn't bother me. You can only squeeze one medium to large potato at a time due to a small basket; but if it was much bigger, it would be hard to squeeze it shut. It does take a little arm strength, but put in less potato if you can't squeeze it with a large potato in it. | How can a thermometer labeled specifically for frothing not include the critical 80-100 degree range?? I wish I had been more careful before buying this since I simply cannot use it without knowing that vital 80-100 degree range, but who would have thought a thermometer marketed toward one specific purpose would not include the ability to use it for said purpose? |
