| I've loved fresh ground black pepper for a long, long time. I use a lot of it - generally enough to raise eyebrows from heathens that don't know the pure love of Pepper hehe.
It always bugged me how long you'd have to grind grind grind to get a decent amount of pepper on your dish. It'd take forever and sometimes I'd just give up and settle for less than I wanted. The first one, given to us by my husband's mother, lasted 15 years, and broke only when I twisted the corkscrew without holding onto the base securely. I had asked in several liquor stores, and no one would admit to knowing anything about them. That was, I am certain, because they sold more expensive corkscrews that did not work nearly as well. | The wine aerator is used at my house for pouring individual glasses of wine rather than pouring it into a decanter. It is a wonderful way to "decant" a glass of wine into a goblet. This device is well-made--better than others I've seen. Since this is my "Favorite Thing This Year" many of my family and friends are receiving them for presents. |

| bought this for my mom who tried mine and loved it. Mine is years and years old and still going strong. Lightweight and easy to manage. It is noisy, as mentioned by other reviewers, but it only runs a few minutes at a time so that has never bothered me. Mom really loves the fact the the veggies can go directly into the salad bowl and that the pieces don't get too small from over chopping like they do in a food processor. |

| Cutting onions is extremely painful for me. I've spent years either suffering and constantly mopping my stinging, tearing eyes, or conniving bystanders into cutting onions for me. I've tried refrigerating the onions first and running the knife under cold water, but those techniques never did much for me.
I was skeptical of these glasses, as they don't have a strap to press the foam against your face to form a seal, but they work wonderfully. I feel no eye stinging whatsoever while I have them on. Highly ... Read More: |

| Just what I expected and works perfectly. The legs on it are just high enough to do the job of keeping direct heat from causing meat to stick to the bottom of the oven. If you're looking for something to keep meat out of the juices, than buy more than one and stack them or use some sort of spacer under it but I like it the way it is; meat brazing in it's juices isn't a bad thing. |
