| On the surface you might think these are "cheap". Nothing could be further from the truth. Each utensil is very sturdy and cleans up beautifully! The holder is very nice looking and also wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. These are a must for use with nonstick cookware. I wish it had a wisk with the set. |

| These Premier containers are the ones I reach for first when I need a storage container. Like the Stain Saver line they replaced, they simply do not stain, even when holding tomato sauce or chili.
These are made of thick polycarbonate, and unlike the Stain Saver line, they have not cracked or broken. (Stain Savers were known to split in half in the dishwasher even w/unheated dry cycle.) | I use my 4-cup glass measuring cup the most but sometimes you only need to heat up a cup of liquid and that's when I use my 1-cup glass measuring cup. It's convenient, smaller, lighter to use.
If I am measuring solids then I use a stainless steel or plastic set but if I am measuring liquids then glass is the only way to go, especially when I need to heat up in the microwave. | I'm glad I read other people's comments about how sharp the blades are. I had no problems at all, but it pays to be careful taking it apart when you are first using it - I can see how carelessness could be painful. We have access to a wonderful farmstand next to a cornfield, so we get absolutely fresh corn in season, and always stock up the freezer. This made this year's supply go so fast it was amazing.

| Amazing kitchen gadget. I bought it on impulse while I was at Sur La Table before Thanksgiving. I received a fresh-fresh-fresh turkey this year, which would be far leaner than turkeys I've purchased and roasted in the past and I haven't seen hide nor hair of my baster in years. | Perhaps I'm dense but I cannot figure out how the strainer plug works. Without the plug (and even with it) the fat gets into the spout, and if the fat doesn't come out the spout on pouring, it comes out thru the top. |
