| i love high end glass ware...with that said, i had enough of breaking my 15 dollar a piece thin glass stemless wine glasses...not to mention the trip by Bosch to fix the dishwasher which got clogged because i was too lazy to do the thin glass by hand, which proceeded to break, and then clog the sensitive bosch motor....

| I got at least 20 good uses out of this wine saver until the pump broke as I was pumping the air out of a bottle. Disappointing, but it was good enough while it lasted that I will probably buy another (I still have the 2 corks that go with it, anyway). But heed this warning: stop pumping when you start to feel resistance. The pump clearly isn't built to take a lot of force. |

| I have had this since May and it has worked wonderfully. Two evenings ago, I put spaghetti sauce in the blender (it was too chunky for my kids). I turned the blender on and the blades rotated once (maybe). Suddenly, there was smoke coming out of the unit. I let it sit for a while to cool off. I tried it again, with only water inside. | I've owned one fo these for years and I'm still on the first cartridge. I've yet to insert the refill cartridge even though I have opened countless bottles of wine. The package says that each cartridge opens 50 bottles. I think I'm beyond that. This is better than a rabbit opener (I have one of those as well). My suggestion is to ease the cork out AS SOON as you depress the cartrdige. When done in one swift motion the cork comes out super fast and without effort. These make fabulous gifts. The refills ...
