| The Wusthof is a must have for any knife owner that wants a sharp edge. I love tools that are simple and work. The process is very easy and I get a reliable sharp edge everytime I use it. I have sharpened every knife I have in the house. The tool is small enough to fit in a drawer or some counter space.
Using the tool is not a chore and is easily available when needed. There is no setup involved. Grab knife, grab sharpner, slide through and have a sharp edge. |

| If you're serious about cooking good knives are probably the most important utensil. These knives are great. They cut through everything superbly. You have to be careful in handling them, though. I had a friend over who put one of them in a stack of other silverware where it got jostled around and the blade wasn't protected and the edge was noticeably dulled. | Very happy with this set. Purchased back in September, and all the edges are still sharp. In fact, be careful when you first use the knives, I cut myself the first time (not used to sharp knives!!) Especially like that the scissors come apart, makes cleaning them so much easier. Highly recommend. I use both knives daily; or at least on the days that I cook! |

| Wusthof's Pull Apart Shears would be my one "desert island" necessity: I use them for snipping fresh herbs such as mint, basil and rosemary, snipping macerated fruit into smaller pieces, cutting parchment paper to fit pans, making quick work of coarsely chopping pecans and walnuts, and chopping vegetables such as asparagus into uniform lengths. | I purchased this knife from Macy's and initially, was very happy. This knife just feels perfect in your hand, has great balance, and very sharp. Unfortunately, sometimes I don't immediately clean my knives right when I'm done, and I have to either scrub or soak them later.
Because this states on the box it's "dishwasher safe," and the fact that it is a "professional" knife, I assumed it would be okay to soak in a sink with warm soapy water. I did this a few times, and one night I forgot it in the sink ... Read More: |

| I really thought this was a great product. I wish it had instructions but I figured it out. It has skid resistant pads on it so you can set it on the cutting board to use. I don't think it was unsafe. Small and easy to store. Worked great!
