| Honestly I don't know how other thermos manufactures stay in business when Nissan is out there. Keeps drinks hot or cold for hours. In fact, I keep one in the freezer and drinks stay cold for over 24 hours and the ice doesn't melt. Easy to tuck in a purse, we take it when we go to the movies...who wants to pay those ridiculous movie drink prices!! Buy one, you won't be sorry. |

| I gave this puppy a test run the firat day i owned it. At 8pm I made a full kettle of hot tea, depositing most of it into the Thermos. I drank it throughout the next day, and at 5pm it was still sufficiently hot I had to sip it. Virtually no loss in heat whasoever. I have yet to try it for cold liquids, but that is not what I bought it for. | A good all-around thermos from Thermos. Keeps the liquid hot for several hours (I haven't tried the cold), has a good grip, and fits nicely in the car cup-holder. The only reason I don't rate it 5 stars is because you will get some leakage out of the top if you tilt it at a steep angle - but you should be fine unless you like to juggle your morning beverage. |

| This item was supposed to be spill proof. I filled it with water and laid it on it's side and to my suprise water started leaking out. I bought this item so that I didn't have to worry about caring it through the house on my way to work without spilling coffee on my carpet. Sent it back immediately. |

| It is true that the filter is kind of cheap and that you have to make sure that you use some type of mesh filter when pouring your coffee in to your cup to prevent granules from getting in there. I drink my coffee pretty much right away so I haven't tested it to see how long it will keep the coffee warm. Overall, it works pretty much the same as any other french press...I mostly use it to steep tea. | I've tried several coffee mugs and this is the only one that will keep my coffee warm and drinkable over an extended period of time. Most mugs the liquid cools down within an hour. This mug keeps the liquid warm for 4 hours. Love it. This is my second one in five years. |

| As someone who is on the go most of the day, I really appreciate a good hot cup of coffee or tea and this cup is the answer. My drink will stay hot for hours and I never have to worry about any leakage. |

But you want it to stay hot and get enough in one cup to wake you up and get you goiong. This 18 ouncer does it. Once you figure out how much coffee to put in the tumbler (add sweetner, cream, milk ect.) without overfilling this is a good choice for the person who needs 18 not 12 or 14oz of coffee in the morning. It is designed around the Japanese bento lunch jars that have been around for a while so this isn't any kind of innovation by Thermos. However it does advertises thermax insulation that is used in other thermos product that have an excellent reputation for heat/cold retention.
