| I love this bowl. It's a nice size for casseroles and the lid snaps on for storage. I use it for marinating meats and chicken and for large salads. It's great in the microwave; The vents really work. I even make Jello deserts in it. Very easy to clean and easy to store. Pyrex put a lot of thought into the style. It really works well for me. |

| I own so many different types of Pyrex. They aren't fancy, but they work very well. The lids are not completely tight, but enough to store in the fridge with out making a mess. Plus, it cuts down on the use of foil and plastic wrap. |

| I know that my title for this review is a bit odd, but it is the truth! I fond that standard bowls are a little too small for cans of "Chunky" or "Healthy Sensations" soup. In standard bowl the soup comes within 1/2" of the top which makes transporting a your steamy hot soup a bit hazardous. This is not a problem with the Pyrex Prepware 1-Quart bowl!

| I have a lot of Pyrex in my kitchen. They come in so many sizes, shapes, some with lids and some without. They can be used in the oven, refrigerator and freezer. This piece is great not only for roasting, but really for casseroles! The size and depth make it perfect for recipes like shepherds pie or sweet potato bake. I'm always looking for a new piece to add and with the great prices it's easy to do.

| We are switching from plastic to glass for food storage. These containers are perfect for a serving of soup and they have vented lids for use in the microwave. Unfortunately the vent covers are not permanently attached to the lid so they can be misplaced. |
