| Pyrex is nice...you can put them in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, etc. I bought two sets of these because 14 pieces counts the lids, so you end up with only 7 dishes. I gave four stars because they chip easily...before I used a single dish, one chipped on me as I was putting it away. I am waiting to see if I have any other chipping problems. Overall, these things are great. I highly recommend using these over plastic food containers! |

| A perfectly reasonable basic set, at a pretty good deal. Mine arrived well-packaged and unharmed. The largest is large enough for a pasta dinner or a double batch of cookies; the smallest is about the right size for mixing the "wet ingredients" or some other small job. My only warning is that they are shallower than expected, compared to their width. |

| I bought this set when I moved into my first single apartment, and I love it. The sizes are perfect for storing a moderate amount of food, enough for some leftovers for lunches. The small round containers also fit well in a lunch bag, and they are totally safe to microwave (without the lid). No more tomato-stained plastic.
The only thing I can say that's not superlative is that the lids fit so tightly (this is good!) that sometimes they rebound when you take them off and fling condensation ... Read More: |

| As always, I love Pyrex, it is durable and dependable. Every kitchen must have this essential measuring cup. I have these in my home kitchen and was adding this to my summer house kitchen. I find that I don't just measure in this but use it for many things, from making pudding to mixing up pancakes. I love the easy pour spout, especially for pancakes.
Must have one (or more) in every size for every kitchen! |

| Pyrex is NO LONGER BOROSILICATE. The new stuff will crack and break, as multiple reviewers have noted; nor are the Catamount borosilicate products a good substitute, since they shatter easily due to their thinness.
