| The Oster 3212 does a fine job of slicing and shredding, the almost exclusive use I make of it. It uses just one blade that you turn over to switch between slicing and shredding, which I would call a convenience.
However, that one blade is sandwiched between two pieces of plastic that start to separate from each other, causing its hexagonal shape shaft to round out and eventually just spin freely instead of turning with the motor. I bought a replacement blade from an authorized parts ... Read More: |

| This is one fine little coffee pot. It was inexpensive, small, yet has all the features. It doesn't take up a lot of counter space, makes just the right amount of coffee, and has all of the features of a bigger pot. The only thing I will say is that it doesn't hold up well to repeated dissection and cleaning. I always like my coffee pots to be perfectly clean and look like brand new. | Makes great waffles. Sandwiches must be quartered, as the sandwich plates are not flat. Very easy to clean..plates are removable and dishwasher safe. Only gripe is the owners manual refers to "buttons" which must be pushed to release the plates. There are no buttons at all, but rather black tabs that must be pulled outwards (bottom plate) or pushed upwards (top) to release the plates. Well worth the money. |

Try plain yoghurt + frozen raspberries + canned peaches + ice cubes + honey for a healthy but tasty snack! |

| This blender is a substitute for my 30+ year old Oster and which uses the same glass pitcher. My old one finally died, so now I have two picthers to work with, which is very handy because we make shakes and smoothies by day and blended rum or taquila drinks in the evening.
This blender seems to have a strong motor and a heavy base which stays in place while working. It's easier to clean than my old one. It crushes ice-maker ice well in my recipes. My only complaint is that it's just one ... Read More: |
