| This is the best help there is for your bbq.
It will enable you to see the temprature of your meat at all times without opening the lid of your bbq. It will give you a warning when your meat is reaching the desired temprature. And with two probes you can use it for two parts of the meat, e.i. brest and leg of the chicken or two peaces of meat. |

| I bought this thermometer after our glass, analog Pampered Chef one broke. I figured digital was "better" somehow than analog, and probably more accurate and easier to read precise temperatures for candy and deep frying.

| This is my husband's favorite tool for grilling and cooking meat without overcooking or undercooking. We had a Redicheck thermometer for many years and just recently to go on a search for a new one. Unfortunately the store where we purchased the original unit had closed. | I've only used it once on an overnight smoke of a couple pork butts. It worked as advertised, no surprises. My only complaint is the range. It wouldn't read more than ~25' through one wall into my family room where I was trying to get some sleep on the couch. Still, much better than the old system of setting an alarm for every 2 hours to mop and check the fire through the night. |

| If you own a cheap grill as I do, knowing the temperature while cooking is always a mystery. This thermometer takes the guesswork out of grilling, allowing me to slow roast dry-rub chicken, pork and fish, and ribs. Although I didn't think it would work as well for steaks and burgers, it did show me that my grill temperature can reach 600+ degrees on high burner settings. | I am a avid online shopper. I do a lot of research before making a purchase. If you are in the market for a great digital fork, stop shopping and just buy this one as you won't be disappointed. Now my steaks
are perfect, not over cooked and not raw either. I love BBQ-ing and this fork takes all the guess work out if it. Just poke it in the steak wait till it beeps, then glance down and look at the "EZ to READ" display". If you like med.rare pull them off when it reads 131F. |

| My son bought this thermometer for me. It was great for a while. I used it on my smoker. I loved the magnet on the back, to help keep me from dropping it. It measured so accurately for maybe a dozen uses and then suddenly in the middle of a cook it registered HI on the cooking temperature and never again came down. I just bought another one I hope it works longer. |

The radio distance is not 100 feet, it's more like 25-30...If there's a wall it might not work right on the other side. One of the probes died within a couple months. Trying to use the buttons to set temps, etc is an exercise in futility...you have to get the manual out every time you use it. You have to turn the two units on in the right order!..AND it's not the order that would make sense. You have to disassemble one of them to turn it on! (3 ... Read More: |
