| We got this toaster as a wedding gift from our wedding registry and it's nice looking with lots of options. The only problems are that the toaster slots are a little small and don't fit all types of bread. Also, depending on the size and thickness of the bread the toaster doesn't always toast evenly, leaving some corners untoasted. Overall it's fine but you can find something better. |

| I have owned about four of these and use them HEAVILY, like once a day, sometimes twice. They have lasted me about a year and a half or two years, which for forty some bucks works really well for me. When the steamer starts to peter out, you can try to poke it with pins and make it last another couple months, which I have done, but just get on Amazon and buy another one. It costs about 10 or 15 lattes from Starbucks......I will buy a 5th one when this one poops out..... |

| I owned this for about 1 year before it ultimately failed. I would rate it, when working, as 3 star--it did produce a grind of coffee that you could tailor to your needs. Fine was very fine, near powdery, coarse was definitely coarse. But it was not a real even grind. For example on the coarser grinds you'd still get some powdery stuff (makes a notable difference when you're using a press pot). Cleaning was a pain. | This toaster peformed moderately well, but died after just two years. It tended to overcook toast on the top and undercook towards the bottom of the slice. Will no longer stay down, though the elements continue to work if the lever is held down manually. However, all toasting functions are gone and it is basically useless. I realize there is only a 1 year warranty, but we expected better than this from Krups. I'd avoid buying this again. |
