| I selected this model because of the great reviews it got. They were spot on. Compact enough to easily fit behind the driver's seat so that the front seat passenger could reach it easily. Large enough to carry the essentials for our trip. With the optional multi-purpose adapter, it is everything we needed in a portable, electric cooler. |

| Cute for small batch of chocolate but needs to be a wee bit larger for actual candy making. Prefer to melt a whole bag of chips at once instead of a little at a time. |

| Neither my wife nor I drink coffee, so Diet Coke is our wake up beverage of choice. We have often joked that if we had a fridge in the bedroom, we wouldn't have to leave. I bought this as a gag gift, knowing it would still get its use. She loved it, but as another reviewer wrote, it doesn't keep cans all that cold, so we still go downstairs to the "real" refridgerator to get the "Real Thing". |

| Road trip to Detroit. Used it as mini fridge in the hotel room.
12 hrs hooked up to the car on my return. Stayed cool. Some water bottles actually froze. Takes a few hours to cool down but as previously suggested placing at least room temperature items in will speed up cool down process. Only snag was however to pay additonal for home adaptor. Should come with product. Otherwise 5 stars. |

| I've used this unit 3 times now with unsatisfactory results each time. Long before the 4-5 hours specified in the manual were up, the motor -- which is only driven by 4 AA batteriess after all -- stopped having enough oomph to stir the thickening liquid. And if you patiently wait for the alotted time to expire like I did at first, trusting that it was sitting in your freezer working as it should, you end up with a very solid, very un-ice-cream-like lump of frozen crystalized cream.

| So far, I have tried two of these units. The first one did not cool at all, and the second one stablizes at a temperature about 10-degrees off from the selected temperature. That is not acceptable for the wine temperature control that I had hoped to have with this device. |
