| I have been pleased with the 9 cup. It's so quiet and quick. Though it is a bit heavy to drag out of the cabinet, I'm using it regularly. I was not impressed with the 3 cup insert when I tried to chop onions. The large bowl and blade work great, however. |

| I have now been thru two of these in three years. It is a waste of money as it has no durability. Two of these openers have failed after less than two years of use each, opening an average of 3 cans per week. When it works it is great, but after a while the mechanism deteriorates and becomes useless. KitchenAid was nice enough to replace the first one which had just gone out of warranty and now less than two years later the replacement has failed. | Dough doesn't climb up on the mixing tool and it actually kneads the dough much better giving you a smoother dough (you can feel this difference). When I added ingredients I noticed they get more thoroughly mixed and do not sit on the side of the bowl. The older device was more of a mixing tool than a kneader but it did the job. This does it better. |

| I wish I had ordered one of these years ago. I bought plastic replacement parts for my cuisinart twice. This one works well, quietly, and handles the loads of veggies I process with ease. Love it. I wish I had bought it it designer red. The only thing I don't like is that I always end up washing all three bowls, even if I only use the little chopper. How do you keep the outer bowls clean? | I bought this to start using whole wheat flour. It does a good job grinding the wheat. Make sure you use it on speed 10 or it will ruin your mixer. You need to let it cool after you grind wheat with this grinder. I usually grind about 5 cups at a time and have not had any trouble with it overheating. If you are going to grind a lot of wheat at a time, I would spend the money to get a nutrimill grain mill. |

| I actually wanted the paper compactor bags but am so glad that I got the plastic. I used to have to stick the paper bags in a trash bag before tossing it. You just put the twist tie on these bags when they're full and out they go! Very sturdy and fit nicely. |

| I have almost the entire "Red" collection from KitchenAid, and these are the only dissapointment for me. They are really bulky and the hold water niside them. Everywhere that has a seam from silver banding gets full of water. Everytime I was them I have to shake them for a few minutes until all the water gets out them, otherwise it drips into what ever pot you are stirring.
