After reading all the reviews and technical descriptions I settled on the K.A. because of the K.A. reputation and because it's the only burr grinder with a glass catch bowl. | We were eager to receive this new toaster as our 10 year old 2-slice toaster finally bit the dust. It's a nice looking appliance and blends in well. Though it takes up a lot of counter space. From the get-go we didn't like the way it toasted bagels, even after hitting the mystery bagel button (which we are convinced is just for show). Tops cook more than bottoms - go figure. | i bought it to grind meat for sausage and it does a pretty good job. i prefer the meat to be ground a little rougher (not so finely ground), but the sausage still turned out tasty. |

| I will admit that when I initially added this mixer to my Christmas list I was as intrigued by this product for its looks as it's usefulness. | I have been pleased with the 9 cup. It's so quiet and quick. Though it is a bit heavy to drag out of the cabinet, I'm using it regularly. I was not impressed with the 3 cup insert when I tried to chop onions. The large bowl and blade work great, however. |

| I have almost the entire "Red" collection from KitchenAid, and these are the only dissapointment for me. They are really bulky and the hold water niside them. Everywhere that has a seam from silver banding gets full of water. Everytime I was them I have to shake them for a few minutes until all the water gets out them, otherwise it drips into what ever pot you are stirring. | We have been using it for a year and it makes the best waffles I have ever had. The Golden malted batter is a perfect match also.
It has been easy to clean even with fresh blueberries mixed in (well a little harder with the berries). The waffles are so good that we have used it many times as a dessert for guests. (Don't laugh until you have tried it for dessert with whipped cream etc). Cooks fast and even and heats up fast. Couldn't be happier. friends who have seen it in action all buy one. | My wife was using our old Mixer to "whipp up" a Meringue for a Coconut Cream Pie (I begin salivating when I tell this story) and it was taking quiet a long time so.........the mixer was replaced with this one, and of course the "Pink" for Her. I can do with Pink if She likes it and....She does! The color isn't the most impressive asset this mixer has, it's the "Ability to Whipp up a Meringue in a very few minuites". | This is probably worth the price but I was quite disappointed to find that the bottom is not flat so it will not work on my flat-top stove for making sauces from the pan drippings. It is slightly indented with a slightly raised rim, therefore it does not make contact with the stove except at the edges. I'm sure this design was needed to add structural strength since overall the walls and bottom are quite thin (thinner than I expected) and would otherwise tend to warp.
