| I've got a drawer with a dozen hot pads, including three kinds of silicon pads, fabric mitts, terry-style pads, and a pair (now two pair) of kitchen grips. I love the kitchen grips. Unlike the silicon pads, these are soft and supple. Unlike the fabric pads, these absorb no liquids. I've used my first pair for more than a year and they are still in great shape. Now that I've got a second pair, I find I don't use any of the others, except sometimes I use a silicon pad as a trivet. |

| I purchased these because they were more flexible and fit my hand better than most grip mitts.
Not impressed because, when the color outer side touched a hot oven rack, which is unavoidable when removing an oven dish, that outer cover melted. A few more of those and it would have melted completely through. Not a good purchase for the $15.00 I paid. Original price was $19.99, and I had a store coupon. |

| I recv'd a pair of these for xmas 2 yrs ago and they are the best thing since sliced bread. Mine have magnets so they hang on the side of the microwave and no more burnt fingers when the dishes are too hot to remove! The only reason I gave this 4 stars is the price. I thought they'd make the perfect stocking stuffer for friends and family until I saw the price. Sure, I suppose not burning your hands is worth it, but then why aren't regular potholders for the stove that expensive? If you find these ... Read More: |

| When I'm wearing the glove, I can put my hand on a hot grill surface and not feel any heat, nor is any damage done to the glove. Other cloth gloves do not compare and will wear over time. The silicon construction of the glove/pad do not wear at all and I've had these things for years now. The only issue has been that some of the stitching on the glove has come undone, but that is easily solved with thread and a needle. |

| I was a bit skeptical of this product, but once I tried it and realized that you really can't feel any heat with them - I love them! It gives you grip as well as insulates from the heat. Highly recommend. |
