| I have loved popcorn all my life, have used every method including fire place poppers. This is the ultimate popcorn popper! I have gone through countless aluminum ones. This is no more difficult to assemble than they, no more hassle to wash, lid stays in place perfectly and there is never more than a kernel or two left unpopped. | I love this stuff. For those folks who find it expensive, consider this -- no chimney to clean, no risk of a roof or chimney fire (I live in an old house), no need for increased insurance, no wood to chop or purchase. All in all, I consider it a reasonable value. Not to mention that it's better for the environment than burning wood. |

If there is such a person as a nut-aholic, that's me! I love nuts and they're nutritious, too. In the past, glazed nuts have always been special occasion treats, bought in small jars or cellophane bags and doled out sparingly. No more! | It's hard to get the ice cubes out and they don't fit one on top of the other unless you let one tray harden first. |

| I used to own a WhirleyPop Popper (for about 5 or 6 years). This model made by Back to Basics is much heavier in construction and works on the same principles. Note that there is actually a "paddle" inside to move the kernels instead of just a piece of wire. Also note that I received the standard model in this Amazon purchase and not the popper with the open window and butter cup. Not a huge deal to me, but it could be for others. |
