| This is the 2nd food saver. THe first one was an original Professional II that I got 7 yrs ago and worked great until it was dropped. Got this one 3 mths ago and it stopped holding a seal within 2 mths. Will return it. |

| I gave this to my Mother as a gift. She couldn't use her old machine anymore due to not having any strenght in her hands to hold it down. She loves this one because it does everything itself. I have no first hand knowledge of how it works but Mom likes it. |

| This product is very user friendly. Just one touch of a couple of buttons and it vacuums and seals all at once. The only problem with this unit is that it uses about 1 1/2" of the bag to make the seal. I don't know if this is standard for all brands or not. I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it to everyone. |

| I bought these because they are smaller than the other Food Saver containers. They aren't anything more than harder Rubbermaid/Tupperware-like items. They do not hold a seal for longer than 2 days, 3 tops. We wasted so much food using these. The lid has a removable gasket, which is nothing more than a plastic rubber band. If it ever comes out (which is does when you clean them, they are that loose), you will never get them back in properly again. I would buy the regular, real Food Saver containers ... Read More: |

| Love how it works...but I noticed you need to have the bag on a flat surface so it will work properly. Other than that it is a fun way to store items. |
