| I'm trying to portion down to the real portion size and not my "Hungry Hombre" size that I am use to. Three to four onces of meat is about two bites. Diets suck. What I really like is that you can put your food container on the scale, push the zero button and then fill it to the weight you want. No math needed which is good for simple minded people such as myself. |

| What's not to like? Accurate, easy to clean... the only slight area of minor irritation is that you can only switch between g, oz, kg, and lbs when turning on the unit, so I've inadvertently done that a time or two. Luckily, just turning it off and restarting and hitting the on button a couple of times while it's taring allows me to fix that. Reliable, accurate, and the plastic removable weighing surface makes cleaning it easy. |

| I own two of these; one for at home and I keep one at my son's restaurant for when I bake. They are quite accurate and you would be amazed at how inaccurate your measuring cups and spoons are! Did you know that 1 cup of sugar is 7 ounces?! There is a list of foods that are numbered that come with it and all you do is put in a number - 58 is butter or cream - set volume or lbs./ounces/grams and put in your ingredients. | I purchased this little scale thinking I could use it to weigh food portions for meals. It is small and compact and travels nicely in the little travel pouch included. That's the good part. The scale itself just wouldn't work correctly to weigh in ounces. I returned the product. |

| I have a smaller/cheaper Escali Primo I'm really happy with, but it was getting old so I decided to buy supposedly better, professional model. More expensive - yes. better? not really. what i hate the most is that this scale needs time to "think" before it shows the weight. so if i pour something, i have to do it in intervals. pour a little and wait for the scale, then pour more and wait again.
