| I got this fryer yesterday and was very excited to use it because we have two little ones so we thought it was the perfect size for the amount of food we needed to fry instead of having to heat up a larger deep fryer. Unfortunately our unit didn't get the oil hot enough so our chicken nuggets and fries would sit and soak up all the oil. I've used other fryers before and this one is by far the worst. I'm not sure why it didn't heat up but we are returning this one and going to try out another fryer. |

It toasts evenly, and there are 7 levels of done-ness to choose from. But it doesn't toast dark brown without putting the bread in twice. Baking The TOB 155 cooks pretty evenly for a toaster oven. Mine seems to run hot, baked goods finish a few minutes sooner than in my regular oven. | I also took a chance on this product and ran into the uneven toasting problem. Tried toasting using all slots set at 3. Slot 1, uneven but decently toasted on both sides. Slot 2, burnt on one side and toasted on the other.. Slot 3, not toasted on one side and toasted on the other. Slot 4, uneven but decently toasted on both sides. I would strongly recommend not purchasing this toaster. |

| I purchased the Cuisinart SM-55 for my wife as a replacement for a Kitchenaid HD Mixer that broke after two years of use.
The Kitchenaid had problems with the gears, which is the same problem that apparently all Kitchenaids have. The plastic gear box cracks and they simply do not stand up to working with bread dough. Thus, I embarked on a quest for a mixer that would provide more power than the Kitchenaid along with reliability - all at a reasonable price. | After repeated efforts, my experience has been that rice rarely turns out well with this rice cooker. I have tried to make adjustments to the amount of liquid but the rice is usually undercooked by varying degrees. It is very inconsistent on how long it cooks for a fixed quantity of rice and water, and often burns the rice on the bottom before cooking all the rice. I give up and am looking for a different rice cooker. |
