| I have used Corelle for years, as has my mother AND my grandmother. I've only ever seen maybe two Corelle dishes break in my lifetime! We registered for two sets of this pattern for our wedding, and we could not be happier. We love the modern patterns Corelle now offers, especially these square pieces. I noticed, like a few other reviewers, that the line pattern is not consistent on a few of the dishes (i.e. faded in some spots), but it doesn't bother me so much. | I've had one set of these dishes for five years and just purchased another matching set to go with my larger apartment. They are pretty difficult to break - I have a history of breaking dishes while washing them, and I've never broken any of these, despite wearing slippery gloves while rinsing them. The plain, dark white design is great for table setting - it highlights your pretty napkins and/or centerpiece without giving the table that cluttered look. |

| This set is really pretty but I was surprised by the color of the lunch plate. Most reviews I read complained about the soup bowl but I was kind of surprised by the color of the lunch plate. All the colors are supposed to resemble water colors and most of the design is really nice but the lunch plate is colored brown instead of white, making it appear stained and dirty. I just wanted to comment that my purchase was for a brand new Amazon.com Corelle Winter White set of dishes. When I opened the shipping box I couldn't help but notice that the Corelle box had been previously opened and the merchandise had been redistributed in the box. Even the Corelle box itself had been weirdly re-taped. Why would Amazon.com send me this kind of merchandise. This was not purchased from an Amazon ... Read More: |

| I got my order promptly and the product was exactly what I wanted. It's a great, completely nuetral pattern that goes with just about anything. However, one of the glasses was broken. I chose not to do anything about it since I didn't really need the glasses anyway, they just come with the set. But this happened previously when I ordered this product from another vendor (I believe?). Curious. | I just received this set yesterday. When I picked the package up from the front porch, it sounded like the box contained Lego's. I knew that couldn't be good. I expected to find many broken pieces, based on the rattling sound inside the box. So I was actually quite happy to discover that only one plate had broken. (I know, how wrong is that?)
