| Makes the difference with this pot. I wish all the saucepans in this series came with a straining lid. Good construction and weight. It just feels good in my hands and the grips are removable so they can be throughly cleaned along with the handles. Cooks great too. Cleanup is a breeze. This pan is open stock. |

Its a spoon. With slots. What you see is what you get. Sorry this isn't more helpful, but really, I think this is a pretty low-risk investment. If you're looking for a spoon without slots, I would not recommend this spoon. |

| I bought this double boiler specifically for my 2 1/2qt Calphalon Professional Saucepan thinking it would fit together nicely as it was advertised "fits all Calphalon Professional and Commercial 2 1/2qt saucepans". Wrong. Not only is there a decent sized gap around the edges where the double boiler pan should snuggly meet the saucepan, but the bottom of the double boiler sits directly on the bottom of the saucepan, not allowing for any water barrier, and essentially, defeating the purpose of using ... | Pots and pans is more of a personal choice... but I found these work great. I have used them for a few months now and they still look brand new. I have a gas stove top and you can't see any burn marks, etc.
Non-stick works perfect - easy clean up every time. I like the added bonus of the grips on the handles as you can hold them and feel virtually no heat while they are on the stove. Heat distribution seems to be fine. I only wash them by hand, I have not tried to ... Read More: |

| I just received my 8quart dutch oven! I bought the vibrant green, which is even more lovely in reality. (I hope my fiance likes this for a Christmas gift.) I think he will, this pot is super large (will easily support a recipe for a family of 6) and practical/economical.
I'm a little concerned about other reviews I've read that mention chipping/cracking, but I'm happy so far. |
