| Good value. I wanted to add a santoku to my Henckels 4 Star set, but the price for a Henckels 7" santoku was 3 times the price of this blade. Balance is good and grip is comfortable. Full tang through handle. Easy to put an edge on and holds it as well as any knife I own. When comparing it to the Henckels set, I believe no one other than a metallurgist could tell the difference. |

| The dishcloth is quite sturdy and will probably last forever but...it's difficult to rinse and keep clean. I wipe down the counter and everything sticks to it and won't rinse off. I don't know how most people are but I like to use my dish cloth more than once and these never really seem clean. I used them right away and they bled a little in hot water but I put them through the wash and nothing was stained so no worries there. I'm just not real thrilled with them and would be happier if Amazon carried ... Read More: |

| I have owned a set of Calphalon Cookware 5-6 years. I wore out the inside of my 10" fry pan so I bought this pan to replace the old one. This 10" Saute Pan is great but very heavy - a little deeper than my previous 10" frypan (saute pan). The words seem to get fancier - fry pan I understand!!
It makes more sense for me to buy individual pans that I need to replace the old and worn pans or pots than buying another complete set that is very expensive. Several of the pots/pans I very seldom ... Read More: |

I like the Contemporary Nonstick series from Calphalon because I have never had any success using the anodized type of pan, this is the more traditional non-stick and I am happy with it.
