| I have used this pan and the 10" pan from a Simply Calphalon Stainless Steel 10-piece set I purchased about 3 years ago (about $175). Out of the set, the frying pans have gotten the most use. They are nice, heavy pans, however the nonstick coating has not held up as well as I would have liked and now I need to replace the frying pans. I think I sped up their demise by cooking on them at too high a temperature most of the time. These pans were a very good buy and I will buy them again.

| I have Calphalon pots and pans, this is my first tart pan and yes I purchased it because of the name brand and it is a good value. Nice weight and it is sturdy. I would buy again. |

| I have made it a habit of collecting Calphalon when it is on sale/closeout. I just can't bring myself to pay $75+ for a pan or skillet. Amazon has been great for this strategy. This particular pot at $50 is the most I have ever paid for a piece of Calphalon. It was made in 2005 and probably was one of those expensive pieces.
