| This is the second kettle I bought - I had to take the first one back because it rusted on the inside. I bought this kettle after looking at what was available in the retail stores. It felt more solid than the competitors. I was hesitant in buying it because some online reviews indicated the inside of the kettle had a smell that would not go away. | I bought this as my first juicer after reading mostly excellent reviews here and have been very pleased with the results.
Now, I have not blended too many juices together; I have mostly juiced various fruits. It makes the best orange juice I have ever had. The apple juice is very good as well, though I would recommend peeling the apples first, as it will leave the apple juice a bit pulpy. Strawberries and peaches also come out excellent. The consistency of the grinds is very good - as opposed to my old grinder that produced all sizes from powder to chunks. The burrs are very heavy weight, and the motor is strong so it can grind with lots of power at low RPM's, which reduces heat, noise and static, which translates to flavor! There's no more coffee on the counter-top. I'll be looking at Breville products for future small appliances because this design is a home-run and an excellent value! |

At 40% off (the list $300 price), I snagged it for $180 before tax. I could not find it on the web anywhere for much less than $250, before tax & shipping. | As you know you can't use a regular wok with electric stove top, I have been using a 12-inch nonstick pan on my smooth glass top stove. I needed 2 hands, one for stirring the other holding the pan from spinning around, which was a pain. Now, I just plug this baby in and have a ball. | Because of the bad reviews about clogging, I passed over this machine and bought a Starbucks Sirena, which got raves (I wish people would hold off on writing reviews until they've used it many times). Anyway, the Sirena was trouble from day one and completely died at 6 months. I then bought the Breville after getting assurance that I could return it if it clogged, but it has been a fantastic machine. | This juicer is amazing. It is easy to use. My 5-year-old starting juicing with it right out of the box. The arm is easy to lower, and it effortlessly presses down on the fruit. The most amazing part of the this juicer is that it extracts every last bit of juice from the fruit. You would have to chew on the rind to get more juice from it, and even then you'd be pressed to find more. Very well designed, built like a tank.
