| I only do these reviews once in a while, but it's good, as I only make a purchase only after I check the reviews on amazon. I asked my 50 something year old mother what she wanted for her birthday- a coffee maker. In black. And SIMPLE. Like she's been using her whole life. This was replacing a 10 year old similar Braun. | This is one of those necessary evils that I don't have a clue whether or not it does a good job. You just about have to have it for your machine I think...I've never tried to run mine without it. I did shop around and found this to be the best price at the time. |
