| I came back to purchase more of these pitchers as a gift for my Mom and found some very poor reviews, so I'm writing this review in defense of the product.
I see several poor reviews on these pitchers based on SHIPPING problems. That's a quality control problem for Amazon to solve. My pitchers arrived well packaged and unbroken, so not all shipping experiences are bad. | I like mine. Have had it for many years. Didn't have trouble figuring out the lid - never tried to pour with the lid on. Use it for sun tea, fresh squeezed oj. It's a great size for a two-person family. |

| We drink strong coffee--Americanos, cappuccinos, etc--and wanted deep cups with 6 or 7 oz. capacity and these are perfect. Not only does coffee stay hot better in smaller, deeper cups, it also looks lovely in glass, especially if you add cream or have whipped cream on top. We like the handle/base: just the right little gap between cup and handle to keep fingers from getting too hot, plus it slips off for easy washing. |

| This would be a perfect product if only the lid was plastic. The inner ice tube is also plastic. The whole purpose, for me, of getting a glass pitcher was so that my drink would not be exposed to the plastic. 3 stars because they don't make it clear that the inner tube is plastic. |

| These little cups are aesthetically cool and perfect for espresso. The only thing I don't like is that the metal handle and base come off if I don't make sure they're on tight after washing. They pop back on easily. |

| I searched forever to find a cup/saucer set small enough to use for espresso (with foam as we like it) and also doubles as coffee service similar to the size cups used in South America. This was the only set I found larger than the usual 2-3oz versions which are difficult when adding in sugar or steamed milk for mini cappucinos.
