| We tested this for a couple of weeks in comparison to our regular "rabbit" opener, which we've been using for a couple of years. Some people in my family liked this one better, others liked the rabbit better. The major issue seemed to have to do with torque to open it: some folks thought pushing down and pulling up the lever on this one was easier, others thought the rabbit easier. | I have used a CorkPops Bottle Opener for 10 years and this is my second re-order of refills. I do find that it takes more gas to "pop" synthetic material corks and, as more and more companies use these corks, my gas usage will go up. I received the refill gas cartridges from CorkPops four days after I placed the order. |

| Good product, bought it like a millennium ago, still pulling corks strong... no rust or buckle or anything. Still looks like new.

| I usually love Oxo products, but this one blows. It is without a doubt the worst corkscrew I've ever owned. I don't use it anymore, but when I did, it routinely:
. shredded the cork in the mouth of the bottle without removing it . lodged the removed cork inside the corkscrew, making nearly impossible to remove . drilled all the way through corks, leaving cork bits and dust in the wine Also, the foil cutter is completely worthless. Second, this newer model even has a foil cutter that works. Third, the design is the most elegant you will ever see in a cork screw.
