| This thermometer does not seem to be well made. Although it is supposed to beep regularly until the triple beep at the end, many times it does not do so (either the regular beeping or the triple beep), so you have no idea if it is working. When it does beep, it makes a sound like it is shorting out. I purchased this Temporal Thermometer as a present for my wife, who is an ER RN is the Los Angeles area. | What else could you want? You don't have to stick anything in your mouth (or in a worse place). It is clean, with results in less than a second. It is also accurate and almost impossible to fake. One can even use it to take temperatures of inanimate objects (within a limited range of temperatures). It is also light and quite intuitive. It is easier to use than just about any other digital thermometer I have ever found.
I can't think of anything else I would want in a thermometer. This one is a keeper. |

| The Lumiscope 2210-214 Quick-Read Digital Thermometer fits comfortably in the mouth, is very easy to use, registers the result quickly, and seems to provcide an accurate reading of temperature (I compared it to the reading on a traditional mercury thermometer). The only small complaint is the low sound it emits when it reaches the final temperature -- the sound is so difficult to hear that I was not sure the final reading had been reached. |

| The best thing I liked about this item was the ease of use and the time it takes to read the temperature. It may not be 100% accurate like any non-clinical scales, but we can set a reference easily, to find out the offset.:)
This is very handy when dealing with cranky kids (and adults too) :). |

My wife purchased this digital thermometer after pouring herself over hours of research and reading. Being an audiophile and a Registered Nurse, she's one of those people that reads the manual on everything first, never makes an impulse purchase and often times calls the company directly via the phone numbers listed on the packaging (which she usually copies down in the store).
