| I used to buy more expensive humidifiers that required replacement filters that cost essentially as much as this humidifier. This one puts out a warm mist with no white dust. I rinse the water dish with vinegar once a week, wipe it down and it's clean. I have a two-story house with a furnace humidifier, but I still run two of these humidifiers on low 24/7 in winter. We never have sore throats or colds. The money we save on cough drops and cold meds and doctor visits more than pays for these humidifiers. |

| I'm a college student, and don't have time to maintain it.
This humidifier is easy to use: it does not require a filter, so no soggy gross filter every few month. If you use distilled water, the humidifier will get dirty after, like, a year of use. If you are lazy and use tap water like me, white minerals will form and you should clean it at least every 3-6 month. A toothbrush and a little normal kitchen cleaner is sufficient for this. | The best thing I liked about this item was the ease of use and the time it takes to read the temperature. It may not be 100% accurate like any non-clinical scales, but we can set a reference easily, to find out the offset.:)
This is very handy when dealing with cranky kids (and adults too) :). |

| I love the changing color idea, and the nightlight and digital display look great. However, the temperature is never accurate! It always 76 or 77, even when the room is chilly. Total waste of money. Rely on yourself to determine if it is too hot or too cold... or get a more accurate thermometer. The Grobag Egg is probably off by 3-5 degrees in either direction. |

| Just put it on the front-head and you can already see the temperature. You have the results in a couple of seconds. Less intrusive. No need for batteries, no electronic sensor that can go wrong like in ALL the electronic thermometers we had.
