| I'm not much for cooked oatmeal so I take a 1/4 cup of these oats with some of the Honeyville blueberries and a good dollop of low-fat yogurt. Into the fridge with this concoction, and the next morning the liquid from the yogurt softens the oatmeal a little (but not too much). Healthy breakfast - about 2 minutes of work. |

| I eat a can of oats in about month so a box lasts 5 or 6 months. Steel cut oats have better consistency than quick oats and taste better. I usually mix in raisins or other dried fruit and cook a serving on the stove in about 7 minutes, using about half the suggested amount of water.
The cans are steel and have great uses long after the oats have received their great reward. The shipping is insanely inexpensive making a case an incredible value. |

| This is expensive for a 50 lb bag. I looked around for a long time, found that it was the most economical at cos*co, one of the membership stores. It isn't available at the regular warehouses, but at 'cos*co business' store. You don't need to have a business membership card to go there. Price - $ 14.21 for a 25 lb bag, I live in Phoenix, AZ and there is one such store near I-17 and Indian School road.

| This particular brand of squid ink pasta is quite delicious. Nothing beats the real thing but making this pasta is a laborious process. Trying to find a ready made product is usually an endless search. Finally, a brand that delivers a smooth pasta with the hint of the sea. |

And I thought that was pretty expensive! But I bought it regularly and really loved it. Then 5 years ago I came to the USA, and among so many other things I missed the foods from home.
