| I purchased this a while back and was using it on my small boat for estuary fishing. I have since upgraded to a Garmin 300C color unit but I am having problems with getting a good reading from it. I am almost thinking of going back to the FF140! It has a nice large screen, good clarity and I had no trouble identifying features despite its grayscale screen. | I purchased the LMS 522C for a smaller sized motor boat that I use in various South Carolina Rivers (Wacamaw, Pee Dee, parts of the Inter-coastal waterway, etc.). I like the smaller rivers because of their natural beauty and lack of boating traffic jams often seen on the Inter-Coastal Waterway. They are however, several hazards one must be aware of such as shallow depths and submerged debris which could damage your boat or at the least, damage the propeller.

| This is my second Lowrance GPS. The iFINDER Go2 is a good gps for the money. It picked up the sattelites quickly including WAAS. Excellent battery life. Easy to use but the screen could be bigger. I would buy another GPS from Lowrance. |

| I have to give it a five because it is exactly as advertised. It functions as advertised. I use it in 5' to 30' and it when set up (using the menu) as suggested it shows the stumps, brush, and stickups. I think that some would say it doesn't do this or it doesn't do that but COME ON, it only cost 100 bucks. My bottom line on a product is it a good value for the money. Yes this is. |

| this gps DF is nice but it comes with no base maps. not roads or nothing. I had to pay navionics 150 bucks for a set of maps that has some local maps but only the more popular lakes SEEM to go into great detail. The fishfinder is great the color is vivid and can be adjusted to different base colors so it doesnt blind you at night. The sceen also prevents glare during the day. I really like the unit but the maps are high and outdated. |

| This thing broke the second time I had it out. Being able to read the bottom while moving fast is realy important to me and one of the reasons I bought this one. I tried regular transom mount and the thing would not read. I mounted it on my pad like the instructions say, but the bracket broke at 30 mph and slammed the transducer around against the back of the boat.
