| Loaded well, but just last week had a one year old Western Digital 500GB Pro Edition hard drive fail completely... so, we'll see how this one holds up, but I worry just a bit. Maybe I just got a bad one (500GB), or maybe WD just has so-so quality control..... time will tell.
However, this one is nice and small, and I like the "no brick" USB only design... it fits nicely in my safety deposit box where I store it as a safe, safe backup for my 48,000 song iTunes library. |

| I recently misplaced the connection cable for my Kodak Digital camera and perused both Amazon and eBay for a replacement cable only to find pretty much only large, bulky, expensive camera docks. Cables get lost and are bulky and get tangled with things so my attention then turned to an SD Card Reader, although I didn't think it would be as portable as a connection cable. | One was not enough, I bought two.
Both worked perfectly for 6 months until a friend offered to buy both of them with my camera. He is a professional and he is still using them more than I would do. It is very fast with the EOS40D and I could shoot raw at full camera speed. Download was quick and smooth with USB2 reader or with camera. Definitely a good deal. |

| This is a great drive for the price. It's light, it's small, it goes anywhere. I'm a law student and I use it a lot for storing different papers, briefs, etc. that I need to carry around. I keep it in my pencil case and take it everywhere with me. It works great and has been very reliable so far. It's very simple to use: just plug and play. I would recommend this to any students who are looking for a decent thumb drive at a great price. |

| As others have mentioned, it's not fast. At worst it's been as low as 5mbps, but generally speaking I can fill it in 35-40 minutes, which isn't bad at all for a 32GB drive. If you just need small files fast, you're better off with a high speed 2GB drive anyway, this is more for your weekly personal backup to put in the safe deposit box, or that sort of use.

| I just purchased this product yesterday. It did not take me long to set it up. If you followed the directions to the letter it really should not be hard. It takes more time waiting for the different downloads. I think a lot of people get confused when they don't have the ID name and their password code. It really should not take 7 hours to get this up and going. I am not computer savvy however I would put my skills as medium compared to others.
