| I just installed these this afternoon in my old Corolla--obviously I hear a big difference because my rear speakers have been blown for a while, so I can't judge relative to other speakers like these on the market. But I'm very satisfied with the sound and happy to have tunes in the car once again. |

| I have to hand it to Pioneer - they found a way to give a head unit the longest possible life. In the "old days" (think Eight Track Cartridge), when you bought a head unit, it pretty much did one thing - provide music from one source and maybe AM/FM. If you wanted to get the latest new music source on the market you had to ditch the whole head unit and start again. | This power supply worked just fine for me on various occasions, until I lost it in a move. The only issue with this adapter that I've had is that it does get very hot, hot enough to melt the plastic in which they provide those pillows and blankets.
I'm trying out a more powerful adapter I found at Costco for about the same price. If you don't have a Costco membership or you need one fast, I'd definitely recommend this. |

| I replaced my Delphi MyFi XM2go Satellite Radio with this radio and the old one just now looks like a boat next to this new sleek Xmp3 from Pioneer. I had big power/battery problems with the Delphi even after the battery recall and so far that's the only problem I'm having with this new radio, it seems to burn through battery power quickly (4 hours for live play isnt enough for me). | Amazon sells the Altec Lansing XM3120 for 16.95.
This unit works with skyfi3 (use the included Roady XT adapter) but, the volume adjustment knob on the XM3120 will NOT work with the SKYFi3. To adjust volume, use the volume controls on the side of the SKYFi3, or the SKYFi3's remote control. The skyfi3 radios may also work with Roady XT home kits, but I haven't looked into this.
