| I purchased this product for use in a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe with factory XM Radio. I prefer the music and comedy on Sirius to that available on XM. Even though the companies are trying to merge, I also like using a portable satellite tuner so I can have satellite radio in both my vehicles and my home without having to pay for multiple subscriptions.

| Agree with others regarding this and it's sister unit the DEH-P5000UB. Very solid mid-range head unit and a very fine replacement for stock system. Using the knob to navigate the menus is tricky and honestly you'll have to be careful while driving especially until you learn the system.
Speaking of that you'll want to sit in your car with the manual and go through page by page and play with it so you get familiar. If you don't take the time to do this you may find yourself frustrated. Read More: |

| I have 4 type-r's in my suv and soon going to 6. I am obsessed with this sub and for good reason. For no more than 150 bucks a sub, these subs are the sickest things on the market. I used to run 1000 watts RMS on these and they did FINE! With only two type-r's, I hit a 150dB on the meter. ONLY USE A PORTED BOX THOUGH! If you use a sealed box for too long they will blow up! But enough about that. If you want a GREAT sub for a GREAT price.. Type-r's are the way to go. THESE THINGS ARE SO FRICKIN' LOUD!!!!! |
