| I am not a heavy user of ink and I see no reason to take a chance with "compatible" products to save a few bucks. With Amazon Prime I get a good price on genuine Canon ink plus free shipping and 2 day delivery. With gas over $4 it's hard to justify a trip to Staples just to buy a $10 ink cartridge. |

| I print with a Canon 9000 and if you want the best printouts at a reasonable price per page, this is it. One of the things I like about this paper is how white it is and how little ink is required to produce vibrant colors.
Now I often print with the higher end papers like Photo Rag and Premium Matte and those are great and all, but in reality they are only about 10% better results than this paper, cost 2.5 times as much per square inch and most importantly they DRINK ink. Total cost of ownership ... Read More: |

| I bought this printer about a year ago. It has been no end of trouble. On the rare occasion it has worked it has produced acceptable prints, but often with banding and lines. Its function is appalling. It is fussy, spends minutes and minutes and minutes gyrating and whirring and doing nothing only to end with an error message. It uses vast amounts of ink which is expensive and most of the ink is consumed in the cleaning process and the whirring that it does. I really recommend that you do not buy this printer. You will ... | I would much rather write a better review for this printer, but I simply can't.
My husband who is "Mr. Consumer Reports," usually knows all about what he's wanting to buy. Since he was so kind as to buy me a new imac for Christmas, I decided I would allow him the freedom to choose our new family printer. | Love this scanner. Had it unboxed and set up on my iMac in 5 minutes. Easy button access for email or copying works great. You definately get great value for the dollar, and the fact that it doesn't need AC power makes it even better. |
