| This item is a winner. It was purchased based on my brother-in-law's recommendation of a smaller model. I am using it strictly for home organizing tasks and find it easy to use, fast set-up, and good labels for shelves, boxes, etc. Haven't tried the computer functions yet. But would definitely recommend this for making labels for home use. There is one proviso which I would note to the manufacturer. It is tough to figure out which of the label tapes fit each model. | I get about 800 to 1100 more good copies after the "Toner Life End" message appears.
It refuses to print even one more copy. Very offensive...until you show it who's in charge. Remove the cartridge and find 2 small port holes, one on each side. The printer shines a light through these to decide when to shut you off. But it's too sudden and always too early. Cover one or both windows with a small piece of masking tape. | This toner cartridge is suppose to produce 5000 copies. I am lucky if I got 2000 out of it. I am tired of companies re-filling the cartridges and selling them as new. Will not buy from this one again! |

| Not much to say about this Brother tape, other than it works great, stays on what it gets stuck to, and it's easy to peel off its protective backing.
Been purchasing this product for a few years and will continue to do so. Labels are everywhere in our office. :) |

| Good value. Much less then HP. I changed all my HP color printers to brother. 1/2 the price to print a color page. Generic refills clogged the printer. I will only use OEM from now on. |

| I've been using this printer for more than 3 months and so far haven't had any issues with it. It's very easy to install and use.
If you are using a network connection and software doesn't detect scanner, then you need to setup printer network configuration manually. Don't use default "auto" setting, instead enter your network parameters, including network speed and duplex. Printer does curl paper, but very slightly. | This drum arrived with toner particles on the roller. We called to get replacement unit which also have toner particles on it. Since my drum is not working so I have to use this drum. So far, the drum is working OK. I just don't know if this was a returned item from other customer. |

| As long as you don't need color printing, this might be the perfect solution to your Mac-based home or small office needs! I wanted to be able to scan and fax from across the network from iMac and Macbook, but was worried about the setup.. For both OSX 10.4 and 10.5 the setup was as easy as installing the CD and clicking a button. The printing and scanning worked automatically right out of the box across the network (hard-wired).

| This cartridge lasted exactly one month for our office. We print about 100 color pages a day, 5 days a week. Figure it lasted only 2000 pages or so. The original toner that came with the printer lasted longer. Odd. |
