| I just installed this unit in my Jeep last week and it works great. I use it mainly for XM radio, so the fact that it doesn't have conventional preset buttons doesn't bother me, but it is a very odd feature of the receiver. The multi-control is good once you get used to it but I can see how some people may have a hard time with that. Last, the in-face aux jack is great -- gives it nearly unlimited versatility. It's not the best, but it's a very good unit for the money. |

| When I purchased this car stereo I had a very specific list of features it HAD to have. Did hours of research to find just the right one that had everything I was looking for. Thought this was the one, and ordered it. PAID $$$$ to have it installed, only to find out that it DOES NOT have RDS!!! | I was looking for a receiver for my new truck camper and already had the DEH-5000 in my Super Duty.The two-line display of that unit to be too distracting and found that the DEH-4000 had similar controls and specifications, including USB plugin for iPod. Installation was straight forward with clearly written instructions. Yes, you do have to read the manual, some wires were clearly labeled.

| I Got This Unit For My 06 Dodge Durango.
I`m So Happy With it. Make Sure You Get Everything, Ipod Cable, Bluetooth, Rearview camera etc... The Dvd Player is Awesome, The Sound Very Good. Work Flawlessly with Ipod Video and Pen Drive. Pioneer is the Best . Only Issue is , This Unit is not For Durango, I had To Pay to Customize the Dash.There`s no Bezel For it. |

| Really awesome deck! I put the DEH-P5000UB in with my stock speakers and the resulting sound is wonderful! I can't get enough of it!
Sometimes the USB interface has a hard time with certain songs and will stop sensing the USB drive I have plugged in. Works fine the next time I start my truck though. Very surprised at the sound I was able to put through my crappy stock speakers! |

| Awesome head unit/ Cd receiver. Aux input on front is great, just buy a seperate 3.5mm stereo cable and you can play your iPod, mp3 player, laptop, or whatever. Amazing value, as well. Very easy to use. Buttons and knobs seem "just right". Looks nice as well with the blue lights. If you don't need or want extra features like bluetooth, satellite radio, just buy this and you won't be disappointed.
