| Great collection of movies with the first one the best one. Because the budget on the succeeding movies was cut, to some degree the quality suffered; however this was balanced by the creativity.

| When I first saw The Closer I didn't like it. Somehow I got hooked -- and decided to order the first season to see how it all started and am glad I did. Their cast has somebody for everyone -- young, old, ethnic -- a pleasant change. |

| If you truly want to be entertained, and you appreciate magic (as in: professional stage magic and magicians) you will adore this film.
All the actors are at their best, here. And, the film holds a bit of a surprise at the end, although cynical folks will say they saw it coming. | Wow, season 3 of the Sopranos is a memorable one for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the previous 2 seasons, but by season 3 every storyline, every line that was muttered by a character, every shocking or subtle development, was a stroke of genius.

| Jonathan Demme's version of "The Manchurian Candidate" was a favorite film of mine that recently came to my DVD collection as the result of a great price. Demme won the Oscar for directing "Silence of the Lambs" in 1991. I enjoyed watching the DVD extra interviews with him, only wondering why he didn't use a razor. :)
