| Not to rain on your parade, but the reason it is finally being released and for such a bargain price, is because the film is unaltered from its original form and the soundtrack is therefore in mono. Yentl was released on DVD in Europe (region code 2) two years ago, with the same disappointing mono soundtrack and no extra's. Why Miss Streisand hasn't bothered to finalize her pet project and make sure it was released with a new digitalized 5.1 surround soundtrack is beyond me. We all know the film ... Read More: |

| After selection, the movie was mailed to me in exactly the time frame adverstised. Knowing it was previously viewed I was pleasantly surprised to find the DVD in perfect order and played beautiful. I recently saw Tina live in Houston. I wanted to see the movie again as it is a powerful tribute of where she was, how she got started, and how she was started again. I loved the heartfelt pain and triumped with her as she returned solo and became one of the greatest women of all time. |

| I had not seen this movie in well over 30 years but remembered loving it as a small child. I recently bought it for my 4 yr old son. He absolutely loves it and asks for it repeatedly. I find all of the content acceptable and age appropriate for him. |

| If you like old movies, this is a good one. The story is not that great but the dancing & singing are very good. You realize what a good singer Howard Keel is & I didn't even know Jane Wyatt cold sing, and she is very good. |

| I have only completed 40 minutes of the video so far, but I had to stop to write and say that I am thrilled with Jenna's instruction! Within 15 seconds of her teaching, I could see that I was going to learn the absolute breakdown of all of the bellydancing moves I learned in the past. Not only is the mirror perfectly placed so that you can align yourself with her moves, but the closer frontal view gives you a different perspective as well.
