| This movie was not only boring, but was a waste of time. I rented it because first of all, it is a lesbian movie. Next, because the character MAX from "L Word" was in it. I was thoroughly disappointed. I guess if you are totally bored and have seen every other lesbian movie out there, you could waste a Tuesday night for almost 2 hours, but I definitely would not recommend it. | "Naked Boys Singing" was a genuine surprise. I ordered it for the obvious reasons. However, it proves to be a delightful and extremely clever revue. Most of the singing is good, the dancing is excellent, and the performers are all attractive, although obviously not trying to compete with the Hollywood "pretty boy" image. Don't buy this DVD if you're looking for porno. | Went into this movie cautiously, eyes wide open. I have to admit, I really liked it. At first it was pretty startling. Perhaps the movie would have been easier to watch if it didn't involve cowboys. I think as Americans we have a preconceived idea of the rugged cowboy and homosexuality doesn't really play into it, so it takes a while to digest that part of the movie. | I cant even begin to explain how excited I was when I found the final season of Queer as Folk here on amazon.com because everywhere else I looked, it was far more expensive. | Not one of my favorite Lesbian movies, but I ordered it because everyone said I should own a copy. It was a typical so-so movie...cute chick mets another cute chick, they fall in love, both have issues that tear them apart, they get back together.
he movie tends to deal with prejudice in its forms...and the message is...prejudice is BAD. And we hear it over and over and over again. My favorite character was the transgendered mtf. S/he made the film interesting, otherwise it was a so-so film. |
