| I bought this movie by accident, thinking it was "Tricks." I am not gay but I have written operas and a musical and I could sympathise with the hero. I have had a friend like the girl. The go-go dancer was beautifully played. I liked the song "Enter You." Non-gays should see this for a look into the gay life which is very much like straight life. |

| Brian Gilbert's "Wilde" stands as a realiable version of the Irish writer's later years. Wilde's relationship with Alfred Douglas, Robert Ross, his wife Constance and many other characters is consistent, and agrees with reports left by contemporaries who knew well Oscar Wilde and his circle. | My boyfriend and I watched this movie for the very first time this past week. At first I didn't think it was going to be that good but I gave my boyfriend the benefit of the doubt and watched it anyways. I thought the one pretentious gay boyfriend was too stereotypical....unless that's the way they really are in L.A. Having seen some of the other gay movies that are out there, this is one of the better ones. It's one that I am going to add to my collection. |

| Unless you are already familiar with this film's history and backstory, I would suggest you watch the extra featurette "Secrets De Tournage" included on the disc before watching the actual film. Watching the film first without this information will be a bit confusing if you do not already know the history between the director and the film's "missing" actor, Johan.

| I saw this movie on cable and just had to get a copy for myself. Its awesome. Summer camp for the nerdy thesbians, but these kids have talent!!! I love the medley of broadway tunes they sing, and the story is cute and funny as well. None of the actors are well known, but for this story I like it better that way. |
