| I started showing these DVDs to my daughter when she was 7 months. She was reading from flashcards at 1, sounding out words at 18 months and reading books at 2. My 8 month old is watching them now and she really enjoys them. She smiles and waves her arms.
My older child is now 3. One thing that amazes me is that she has better reading skills than 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders I have heard reading. I'm not sure if learning earlier improves reading ability or if there is something about this ... Read More: |

| The only problem was there wasn't nearly enough time on the disc to really get into all of the little things that this stadium has seen. It was done well and is certainly worth buying, but anyone who's either ever been to the stadium or knows about it's (& Yankee) history will feel kind of slighted. It's kind of like going to your favorite band's concert and only hearing the hits that you've heard 1,000 times before when you wanted to hear the "deep cuts". |

| We've always like Barry Manilow's voice and songwriting ability. What was a surprise is how good a showman he is. Totally delightful show, and one we will watch again and again.
Nice to have Mr. Manilow living in our home town. |

| Attenborough is in fine form in this series, his own pleasant quirkiness matching the oddity and fascination of the reptiles he trots before us. The programs are thoughtfully organized, so there's enough continuity to let us know we are actually learning something about reptiles, rather than just seeing a proliferation of bizarre life-forms. As good the second time as they are the first time through, these discs are almost sure to satisfy. |

| Season 2 is great! Not as long as season 1, but thoroughly entertaining! I used to only watch Man vs Wild, but after the second season the show went down hill. Les truly survives and does it for seven days with no assistance! Thats what I love most about the show, it real! watching season 3 now and its great so far, but looks like another short season, we'll see. |
