| After having known Scorsese's earlier work like "Last Waltz" and recently "No Direction Home - Bob Dylan", I expected "Shine a light" to be of a similar standard. But it's mostly damp squib with the entire movie being about just one concert (all songs shown are played fully) with very few titbits from backstage and fewer clips from Stones' earlier years. | I should have a sucker tattoo on my forehead. Schoolhouse rock completionists should buy this DVD. Otherwise, stay away. The menus are cute, and arranged strangely. Some of these segments fit nicely, but some don't at all. If, however, you're interested in a new perspective on an old set - you're not getting much here. I'm a little upset about the price - under $10 could've pushed this further, but I did but all of the VHS sets around $10. I figured that I was already in this thing above $50 anyways, ... | After being in her shoes I think this movie is beautiful. Hilary did a great job of portraying the emotions that one goes through and did so beautifully. Life goes on around you, but you have to make the choice to step out onto the sidewalk. |

| This season feels like a departure from the previous ones. Even setting aside the introduction of a cute but unconvincing Lesley (Ann) Warren and an insipid Sam Elliot, the flavor of the show is completely different. | It's an awesome experience watching Paul Newman play the role of down-and-almost-out attorney Frank Galvin in The Verdict; not to mention James Mason, Jack Warden, and Charlotte Rampling; all given "classic" understated direction by Sidney Lumet. | Tied with season six as my favorite. Sara's always been my favorite character, and I loved seeing her character even more this season, although she left in "Goodbye and Good Luck". I thought that episode, along with the season six episode, "The Unusual Suspect" was extraordinary. |
